This is the front page of an interior "special section" (known as VPlus) for Variety that highlights one category of the Emmys; in this case, the Variety, Music or Comedy category. I came up with the concept and did the layout for the pages, using Photoshop and InDesign. The picture of Conan O'Brien was a cutout; I did it in Photoshop. The background graphics were from a stock photo site and manipulated in Photoshop.
